The Butterfly Effect-

The butterfly depicted in a deep black, represents what happens when someone breaks out of the mindset that society created for them and embraces who they are from within. This butterflies darkness is very prominent hard to miss, but once the light hits it in the right place, you can see so much more.

You can bask in its rarity, paying attention to the infinity symbols on each side of the butterfly's wings, aiding to a notion of duality. Butterflies, similar to people are bilateral in physical make up, this balance expands throughout life and its many facets. That balance can represent having the choice to accept all of you, or none of you. It gives you the opportunity to acknowledge having one aspect of yourself without the other leaves you incomplete. Learning to accept yourself in totality is the first step to living in authenticity.

If you notice the background, it sets up a scene of movement, almost as if the butterfly is moving so fast through the world it can't even capture a solid image. However, take a closer look at the colors on the butterfly, it just so happens that some of the colors from the background are imbedded into the genetic makeup of the butterfly. Exposing how some environments can shape who you can grow into. This butterfly in a regular field of butterflies may not even get a double glance. However, In the right environment, it can give the butterfly the ability to display its many distinct qualities outside of its frame that to some could be considered "less than sharp." Or its wings that are partially uneven, better yet its antennas that are possibly more prominent than most.

It's those very inconsistencies that make this butterfly different from any other. This butterfly shines but in the right light, it steals the show. It's the same as if someone extremely smart grew up in one of the worst neighborhoods, nobody is going to recognize them for what truly makes them beautiful, it's the darkness they will highlight because that is all they know.

Butterflies are like people in many ways, full of details and exquisite designs, just waiting for the right light to expose who they truly are, to finally be perceived, admired and respected for its true beauty.
